KEV.O's award-winning sound invades eardrums with the release of his debut LP LOVOLUTION: The Urban Alternative, a combined effort of three record labels, including his own, 1117 MUSIC. In collaboration with producer James McKinney (Mariah Carey, Omarion), this 13-track set represents a running start for the urban rock star. The Atlanta, GA native's musical beginnings were nurtured on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC. Since then, he could be seen with artists like Mýa, Mario, Kim Burrell, Raheem DeVaughn, Chrisette Michele, and fellow independent artists, while promoting 4 Singles Only!, the critically acclaimed EP released in 2007 featuring the crowd favorite "Blue Moon". In 2009, KEV.O reached #1 on Mp3.com.au for "All An Illusion" with Kenny Wesley and was named "Best Alternative Artist" by Velocity Magazine. KEV.O has since performed for Gap and Banana Republic and has become Steve Harvey's New Star Project winner.
